I love everything about this place. From the moment I arrived I was treated with so much kindness and love by all the staff members. It truly felt like I am part of a family. I ended up extending my stay because I just didn’t want to leave. The hostel has all the comfort I needed, it is spacious, bright and clean. They offer various types of yoga classes, I tried them all and loved them all, sometimes challenging, sometimes relaxing, but always recharging. The open-air shala next to the pool has a special vibe both during sunrise and sunset, so magical! The yoga instructors were all unique, paying attention to you and making sure you enjoy the practice. I have to mention the FOOD which was one of the highlights of my stay. The chef Made is the best in this world, always preparing delicious fresh Indonesian meals for us here in the kitchen. I savoured every single meal. I enjoyed the surf classes too, even though I am a beginner. The instructors were cool, knowledgeable about the waves and patient with me. They ensured I was always safe in the water.
The hostel also helps with arranging rides to and from the airport which makes things smooth. The laundry service is also a huge plus.

It was an amazing experience, the villa is cosy, the staff is super nice and treated me like a princess. The room and the outdoor bathroom are lovely. I especially enjoyed the surf lessons! The spot was amazing, and the instructors were really skilled and friendly.

It’s my second time staying at surf and yoga retreats (just different location). I liked it as much as the first time and would choose them again for my next travel.
As for this specific location, I would say they have very convenient location - quite close to city center (just few minutes ride to nightlife and bustling streets), but also in quiet surroundings that are being interrupted only by dog barking. The staff are absolutely exceptional, greeting you with smile from very first moment you show up till the very last second of your stay. Always helpful and there to make your stay smooth as possible. The home cooked meals were very delicious and I still dream about banana pancakes that we had for breakfast. Rooms very bright, spacious and each had separate bathrooms which was really convenient.
Surf sessions were really nice and team of surfing lessons is absolutely amazing - they set chill and fun mood for the lessons while also perfectly guiding each person to improvement. I had only one yoga session booked but I enjoyed it as much. The time in retreat really passed by and I left with calm mind and cleansed soul.

Thank you for an amazing 5-day stay! I would highly recommend Surf Uluwatu to anyone looking to recharge, stay active, and enjoy the Bali surf lifestyle.

Everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The surfing is suitable for both beginners and intermediate surfers, and I really appreciated that the team chooses the beach each day based on your level and the conditions. It made the experience feel both safe and fun.

The yoga classes were also great, and I especially loved that all the teachers were local. The food was delicious as well. My only small suggestion would be to include a little more protein in the meals, especially since surfing every day is quite a workout!

The staff were super friendly throughout my stay and made the whole experience very enjoyable. I’ll definitely be recommending this place to friends.

I stayed here for one week and I really enjoyed it.
The room was perfect and the food was really good. But what I liked the most was the people. Everyone was very nice, flexible and easy going. The whole team was taking good care of us and the atmosphere was very relaxed.
Big thanks also to the surfing team Rahmat, Agus and Bobby. They were really nice, patient and fun. I learned a lot and had a really good time learning from them.

Absolute Paradise! An Unforgettable Experience

​I honestly can’t say enough good things about this place. From the second I walked in, I was welcomed with open arms. The energy here is so calm, positive, and genuinely warm - it felt like a home away from home right away.

I had such a lovely stay at the Surf & Yoga Camp Uluwatu! The atmosphere is really cosy, welcoming and feels very familiar from the moment you arrive. Everyone is super friendly and makes you feel at home.

The food is delicious and always fresh and healthy to enjoy. I also really loved the yoga classes , a perfect balance to the surf sessions. The surf lessons were great too, with a really nice and supportive team that made everyone feel comfortable, no matter their level.
