Surfing is a fantastic family holiday activity and having kids for your surf lessons is always a lot of fun. We do have an age limit for surfing guests though; they need to be a minimum of 6 years old and accompanied by at least one participating adult. Children who require their own room are charged at adult rate.

We strongly recommend travel and medical insurance that covers the activities you plan to take part in, including surfing.

We hope it never happens — but in case of a physical injury that prevents you from participating in the scheduled activities, please note that no refunds will be issued for missed sessions.

However, we’re happy to offer you a credit voucher that you can use towards a future stay or activity. This way, you’ll still have the chance to enjoy the full experience with us once you’re feeling better 💛

If you have arranged an airport pick-up with us, please provide your arrival time and flight information during check-in. Your driver will meet you at arrivals with a Surf & Yoga Retreats sign. Contact us if you need help planning your arrival.

Yes. Uluwatu is famous for advanced waves, but the wider area gives our coaches access to different surf spots and conditions. We select the break according to your level, swell, tide and wind, so complete beginners and progressing surfers can learn in conditions appropriate for them.

Our personal surf coaching is designed for complete beginners through intermediate surfers, with a maximum 1 coach to 2 students. We also avoid mixing very different ability levels so the feedback remains relevant to your surfing.

Yes. Videos recorded for surf analysis are shared with you free of charge.

Bring swimwear, sunscreen and anything you personally like to use in the water. We can provide a rash guard, and surf equipment is included with the applicable surf packages.

No. Surf equipment is included with our surf packages. If you have a favourite personal board, you are welcome to bring it.

Being comfortable in the water is important for confidence and safety. If you are not a confident swimmer, please tell our team before your surf sessions so we can discuss what is appropriate for you.
